Eleme Women Honour Monarch In Grand Ceremony

Eleme monarch, HRM King Dr (Emere) Philip Osaro Obele, Oneh-eh Eleme XI was honoured by the Aleto Women on the 2nd of September at the Aleto Ultra-Modern Town Hall in Aleto ancient town, Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State in a grand ceremony.

King Obele whose reign continue to receive commendations from so many quarters for attracting order to Eleme land was honoured for his excellent and exceptional leadership style and the aura of peace and development it has brought over Aleto land.

Honoured alongside the Eleme monarch was the member representing Eleme in the Rivers State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Education, Dr Igwe Aforji Obey, who was honoured for impactful representation. The Eleme king was presented with gifts befitting his royal person as well as the state lawmaker.

 

Emere Philip Obele, a retired school administrator who rose through the ranks of traditional administration to its apex in Eleme kingdom in a most admirable grace has been decorated by many groups and communities in the past for fruitful leadership.

The ceremony attracted dignitaries from Eleme and the state which included Rt. Hon. Dumle Maol, Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
